Main topics of discussion were:
- The proposal for an ERA Framework by the European Commission.
- The evidence-based analysis and report ‘The vision for the realisation of the European Research Area’, prepared by Science Europe in response to a request from the European Commission.
- The establishment of Science Europe in September 2011, offering a valuable dialogue partner at the European level for the assessment of future orientation of common research and innovation policy.
